Dog Grooming & Spa

Grooming animals is a real art. I treat the animals that come to me as if they were my own. I respect them and try to make it the most pleasant experience I possibly can.

A full service groom includes:

• Bathe with a high quality shampoo
• Blow dry with a cool air blow dryer
• Clean ears and teeth
• I pay special attention to the feet, trimming nails and hair between the toes
• Clip and scissor cut to create the pet style you request (You can tell me how you would like the dog to look, such as a Springer Spaniel cut, or Cocker cut, or Puppy cut;  I will do my best to get the look you want)
• I use various pet colognes and sprays that smell clean and fresh.
• A pretty bandanna completes the groom.
• I also groom cats, if they are fairly well behaved. I can do a Lion cut, or whatever you ask for.

My prices are varied, depending on the difficulty and time I need to do the groom. Generally,
small to medium full groom is $40.00-$45.00
large full groom is $50.00-$65.00

I can also do just the bath. That includes bathing and then blowing dry. I clean ears and teeth, and trim nails and trim the hair in and around the paws. Prices again vary on difficulty and time allotted to bath. Generally,
small to medium animal bath is $25.00-$30.00
large animal bath is $35.00-$40.00

Are you looking for a groomer that will pamper your pet?  I have many additional services you may be interested in.  These services can be combined with the regular groom, or I can do the individual service for you.  We can customize your pet’s spa experience and make it as relaxing as possible!

• Aromatherapy hot oil treatment- this treatment will give your pet silky fur and will moisturize their skin.  Dogs seem to love this treatment!
• Aromatherapy pad treatment- if your pet has issues with dry, cracked paws, this is the treatment for you!  I will massage a blend of oils into their paws leaving them soft and moisturized.
• Painted nails- I have a variety of colors to choose from, it gives your pet a distinctive look and just a bit of flair and fun!  I can also massage oil into their nails for a soft manicured finish that looks beautiful and feels good too!
• Pet massage- I will treat your pet to a 10 minute massage while shampooing, paying special attention to their back, legs and neck areas.  Dogs are just like humans, they can get sore muscles, and suffer from arthritis.  It feels good to them to get a massage, too!  Very beneficial for all dogs, helps relax them and relieve pain in muscles.
• Oatmeal or milk bath- if your dog suffers from chronic dry skin, we can try an oatmeal soaking bath, or a milk bath that really seems to help dry skin conditions.  The dogs love the warm, soothing water.  It may be just the thing for the dry winter months!
• Deep conditioner treatment- after the shampoo, I can give a conditioning treatment to your dog that softens the fur and relieves dryness of the skin, too.  It also smells really good and feels great!
• Hot spot treatment- if your dog has chronic hotspots, this might be just the treatment for you!  I have some soothing products that I can use when bathing the dog that will help treat hot spots, and make them feel so much better!
